Meet Nabiha Bensouda. Born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark, the singer/songwriter recently released her first single and new video entitled “Deep Sleep” on Border Breakers Records. Citing reggae, disco, rock, and R&B as major influences in her music, she also incorporated a Malian lullabye that her mom use to sing to her as a child at the end of “Deep Sleep”.
No news of an album release in the US, but if you’re in Denmark look for it in February 2010. Her video is below.
