"Awesome Talent! I'm proud to help cultivate a star!" - Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds
Is it the smile, the sexy, or the incredible singing? Asia'h hits you from so many different angles it's hard to know where to start. Maybe it's best to look back to American Idol, when a then 19-year-old Asia'h's singing prowess and combination of sweet and sultry won over the hearts of both the judges and millions across the globe. Or maybe you should start two days before her Idol audition, when her father was killed in a tragic car accident. It takes a special kind of artist to persevere through that, one with the utmost faith in her talent and where it's taking her. An artist like Asia'h. You can hear her determination in the triumphant but vulnerable bounce of "Exposed"; you can hear her heartbreak in the earnest frustration of "Traffic." But really, it isn't about why Asia'h's music hits you—it’s about where: in the mind, heart and soul.
