Jennifer’s upcoming seventh studio album, LOVE, which had been scheduled to be released in April, is currently on the shelf. A greatest hits compilation is planned to be released by Sony this fall. Jennifer had been with Sony since the release of her Grammy-nominated debut album, On The 6, in 1999. She has sold over 48 million albums worldwide.

The Bronx-born singer/actress Lopez’s manager, Benny Medina, confirmed the split in the following statement: “Jennifer had a wonderful relationship with the Sony Music group, and they have shared many successes together, but the time was right to make a change that best serves the direction her career as an actress and recording artist.”
